UMI SUPER GPS PROBLEMS

I think my compass is uncalibrated and it is interfering with GPS . Does anyone know how I can adjust my compass ?

So these GPS issues, are they affecting all Super models? or is it a specific batch of hardware that is affected? Surely if UMI have received complaints that GPS was not working, they'd either halt production or modify the current hardware for new batches?

Haha,  in an ideal world.  I suppose we could start a poll based on GPS issues on UMI super with date?  Mine was a pre order first batch,  has GPS issues.

Question is there any special way to calibrate compass because in my Super is always wrong.

After changing the back cover for the one with the one with all the contacts the GPS is mutch better but is not perfect....

1. Run the application.
2. Turn the phone a few times after each of the three axes (X,Y,Z)
3. After this, compass should adjust.

My 2 cents:
The GPS on my unit is one of the better ones I've used on any mobile device.
As good as LG G3 and Apple devices.

Sounds like a bad batch issue.

Same here.

After reading all the GPS issues here, I just install and launch GPS Reset COM as described here http://community.umidigi.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=4301&extra=page%3D1%26filter%3Dtypeid%26typeid%3D167.
After my Super was rooted, I modify gps.conf via GPS Test app to set the server to use one of my country.
I performed these 2 steps out of the box.

I tried my GPS with Navigon this morning, the behavior was flawless!

Maybe I received a good one (phone or batch).

I have just a problem now... I bought the original smart sleep flip cover and it doesn't light on or off the screen...
I'm still on 20160708...

Am I alone?

I tried aluminium foil and clear GPS data yesterday and didn't work either. I think it is a hardware problem (some phones or a batch maybe, my included).
Now, I don't what else I could do.
