The rom you see in the youtube video is taken from Jiayu S3 at this link, so the issues will never fix if they even don't have a base rom lollipop.

Basically UMI rom 5.0 = TCL M2M rom and UMI rom 5.1 = random rom their take from needrom.com and rename the build.prop

So this could mean that they are trying to port 5.1 instead 5.0 to the Emax or (which is more likely) they are just trying to fool us again by posting a video that indicates not existing progress.
In both cases: Pay or sue Mediatek to get the frigging source code, UMI!!!

The rom you see in the youtube video is not taken from Jiayu S3. The hardware of the two phones is absolutely not compatible. An eMAX is not even able to boot up running a Jiayu S3 ROM. So, if that were a porting job, then that would be even easier to work with the TCL M2M ROM.

Can you explain why the rom in the video have the logo of Xtreme team in About Phone ? Does any AOSP source have that logo in the build ???

FYI: Xtreme team also doing porting rom to another device like iOcean MT6752 too, not just Jiayu S3. And ppl in chinese forum can port TCL M2M device to run CM 12.1 (Lollipop 5.1) with kernel 5.0 but the problem is same: baseband is invalid so they can't use any wifi, call....

Install a Jiayu S3 or iOciean Rock ROM on an eMAX and explain why at least the boot process can't even start. You didn't mentioned that - according the the provided video - the baseband version is also the same as the one used by Jiayu S3. So that test release might contain JS3 resources but surely not just the same ROM. Your statement was this latter one.
