Something else I forgot to mention before. Every time I turn off and turn On the phone a small message pop's up and says: SIMPROCESSOR. Also it appears when I set the phone in Aeroplane Mode. see attach file. Any help would be appreciated.

It's just about accessing the SIM processor. The chip on the SIM card contains a very simple microprocessor. The only new thing is to being notified about that access.

Looks like the only way is to flash the firmware using SPFT.

Instructions and necessary files have been provided by @Bencebacsi in the first post of each ROM forum.

You'll need to install the MTK drivers if that has not been installed. From there, the phone is connected with power off, after opening the flash tool and selecting the correct scatter file. Suggest to use firmware upgrade option and over write everything.

Take note of relevant warnings in the forum page before starting.

Please run the testing mode by dialling *#*#33#*#*
Select Single Test, then Distance Sensor. There you can real time test the working of the proximity sensor. Moving an object closer to the sensor should increase the displayed value. Please come back with your experience there.
