You can try calibrate proximity sensor.
On Android 6.0 you can try from android settings (settings - display - proximity sensor calibration
Also you can try go to engineering mode. Type in to dialer *#*#3646633#*#* you will be transferred to engineering mode (hardware testing - sensors - light/proximity sensors.
Also check for alien objects in proximity sensor or mechanical damage.

I did this but give me an error. That's why i think is a firmware problem.

But this can't be firmware issues as all this happened after screen replacement so I suspecting hardware issues caused by you. Maybe you moved sensor etc. Also new screen can cause some shorts in motherboard as maybe is not fully compatible. You should swap with old screen and test. Then check all contacts on motherboard etc

hi, I replace recently the screen of umi super, after that proximity sensor stop working. I try to calibrate, sensor works fine and throw me a success message but nothing change. I test in sensor box app and don´t work. any help?

Did you refit small rubber grommet for light/proximity sensor?

It was exactly that, I opened the phone and adjusted the rubber so there was no space left. Now it works perfect, thanks!
