Please put also some higher specs into it.

Every spec are selected carefully to manage within $80 but still in good design and craftsmanship.
G is meant to be for users who just need this kind of spec at this budget.
We'll have other models are designed for users like you and hopefully, that would meet your request.
By the way, Kaluschke, I'm putting a vote together user's idea about UMIDIGI Crystal: http://www.umidigi.com/page-umidigi_crystal_activity.html

You're welcome to share your opinion there ;)

Hi Djingo,

We're aware of most of the bugs users mentioned, some are fixed some are trapped with lacking repair source code from MTK. I also know you might think we are putting issue to MTK as the one to blame, however, this is the truth in this case.

Why are we still working with MTK? MTK by far still the only processor provider who could manage all the device in low cost.
Thought, with new supplier we are working with now, we're having better support from MTK at the moment, for example, UMI SUPER, MAX, Z and Z PRO now already got the source code and install to Android 7 now.

The only way to be improved is to keep working on, one success is coming from 999 times of failure.

Isn't exactly what UMI here to do? Bringing the top technology put them into the affordable device ...

I agree
I have the Umi Z, and I'm very happy with what you get for your money. The design is just amazing!
But Umi keeps making new phone's like every month....
You really need to produce less phone's and test the phone's a lot more.
A lot of people have white lines on there screen (Umi Z)
Some people also have the battery expansion problem.....
Umi really have to test their phone's more!
I hope you understand me

Nice to see smaller size. Spec seems ok for a budget phone. If all one does is text, email, surf the internet and make calls this would do the job decently.

Wow the crystal looks great..
for the G:
for sure for the price it is more than good.

My wish was always:
5inch(Full HD), with high class processor and 64GB.
LTE BAnd 20 and Dual Sim

but that is for sure offtopic...

Dear UMIadmin,

Thank you for your explanation. Good to hear that UMI is working on solutions.
However, a lot of users of excisting phones are still left in the cold.
I understand that you want to satisfy customers with different phones for every wallet.
My finding is that the phones are really nice but the bugs are very frustrating.
For example:
- losing connection on bluetooth and wifi (my experience with Plus)
- strange behavior of the phone
- problems with OTA updates
- withdrawn updates (UMI Rome X) which lead to problems (message: ''your system was damaged, wireless update disabled")
  This is still not solved.
- etc

All this doesn't look good for users who seek an afffordable phone.
Maybe you should put more wieght and effort in pleasing excisting customers and solve problems.
After solving most of the issues I might consider to buy an UMI phone again.
The 'G' looks like a wonderful and affordable phone for my daugther. I await however the customer reviews.

This is the perfect smartphone for me...
- Strong battery (for heavy use without charging 1.5 days)
- Quick Charge
- Good Rear Camera that makes sharp pictures even in low light conditions
(Unfortunately UMIDIGI has so far mostly promised more than was held)
- Fast Auto-focus
- Good front camera with LED flash
(Unfortunately UMIDIGI has so far mostly promised more than was held)
- Full HD display (4K is not necessary with a smartphone)
- "Unbreakable" display glass (for example Corning Gorilla Glass 5)
- Large WLAN range
- At least 6 GB RAM
- At least 256GB storage space (microSD)
- Dual SIM is NOT necessary

Hey GamingMonster,

We found out the problem that leads to the white line on the Z is because of the oleophobic coating was scratch off from the screen.
From the test report, telling us this oleophobic coating would be removed after at least 2000times rubbing. We believe some users' Z oleophobic coating got off by unknown constantly rubbing.
We're guessing one mostly factor could be the long distant transportation with the inappropriate package.
Anyway, we changed another oleophobic coating supplies on C NOTE, so far we don't hear any similar case happened.
Production part is keep testing and monitoring this case.

For the battery, according to the test report from the affected device, there's a few factor that could lead to this expansion:
1. Using none standard fast charger provided by the company, the over high electric current break the battery
2. Unstable electric current from the plug via the building could lead it to over high electric current and break the battery
3. Battery damage by drops could be transportation or unexpected drop by the user.
For this case, users can apply warranty and new replacement via shop where they purchased the device.
We offer brand new replacement to shop to provide to users.

Thanks
