Posted where? Here? People are not supposed to check a forum to know if an OFFICIAL update is work ...

I agree with you on the fact the issue should be fixed asap but I disagree with the alternative you suggest.

I am strongly against pushing a downgrade to Marshmellow.

The only logical way is to move forward, patching and fixing the issues introduced with Nougat asap.

They can move forward while they give us V6 back. Unless they're able to push a fix in few days. But since also other more reliable companies are having issues with this problem, I strongly doubt UMI will be able to. The phone is useless in these conditions. Super battery drain and no fast charging don't allow me to use the phone as it should.

Why update to Nougat, I am on marsmellow and have none of the bugs. Do a resseach on the forum before updateing, you would see alle the problems  in front.

Because the upgrade was an official release, not a custom ROM, send by UMI. No one expect to have to check official release.

BATTERY DRAIN SOLVED. You have simply to reset the mobile. That's boring, but at least the battery returns to be as it was.
I've charged for 6 hours, it lasted one day and half.

BUT THE FAST CHARGE TROUBLE IS NOT SOLVED.

Umi Super user here; having the same problem. It takes 4+ hours to fully charge the phone and it als ...

You have to make a factory reset. After the battery drain is solved, but it still takes 4++ to be charged.

The fast-charging bug has been known to UMI since January 23, when the Beta was released. They started pushing out the FOTA update early this week but decided to release the flawed ROM. If UMI hasn't managed to solve the bug in the one month it took them to declare the beta ROM as final I have little hope that they'll suddenly find a fix within a few days. It'll be interesting to see if they fix it at all, it wouldn't be the first time I have been burned by a chinese smartphone manufacturer.

I've just DOWNGRADED following these istructions: http://community.umidigi.com/for ... &extra=page%3D1

You must jump step n.6 ("6. CAUTION: We have to disable first parameter – «PRELOADER»" - NO: we have to reinstall old preloader. The first time i haven't done i bricked my mobile!)

I've taken all i need by this page: http://community.umidigi.com/thread-3096-1-1.html

Needless to say to do so at your own risk... (but for me everything was fine at second shot)
