Today I got a missed call notification (among others I've received other times) and, after checking the missed call, the LED light kept on blinking white forever.

I've tried resetting the phone, going into Lollipop's notification history, checking the call log again and again... and it keeps blinking white.

I don't know what to do, and I'm even stating to think I'll have to do a factory reset to get rid of the LED.

Any clues?

Got this problem sometimes, but usually it gets fixed by itself after a few minutes or so.

Haha...I am glad you haven't lost your sense of humour Drakhart.
I can only imagine how annoying it is, especially the white light.

At this point I do not believe it is a common issue but let's see what we can do to resolve it.

If you type this into your dial-pad:
*#*#7378423#*#*
..and then go to: Service tests > LED/Illumination
It will run a test on the notification LED. Could you try this and let me know if the LED stops flashing?

Thanks for your help.

Well, it seems that I had an unread SMS in Hangouts and the Iron just wanted me to read it, stubborn as a mule, even when I discarded the notification in first place.

Opening Hangouts and then the unread SMS solved the issue.

Thanks everyone!

Umidaze and Gruffles: perfect coordination
It's the MTK Engineer mode so there is not the Services Test unfortunately.

Yes I have the same with SMS, if I receive an SMS and just read the notification and don't jump to the sms app the LED never stop even if I delete the notification with dragging. So we can think that the LED doesn't link to the notification's panel but directly with apps.
