Strangely enough I didn't have any major problems with my UMI Z but since I installed today's update I experience a notification bar randomly pulling itself down from time to time. (This was described before by some users having issues before the update).

Just an update to my previous post - I shut down the phone, waited for about 10 min and started again. Since that the issue hasn't come back.
I also noticed that fingerprint scanner works faster and better.
It seems as well that 4G is more stable but not sure as where I am at the moment the reception is rather crap.

I'll keep monitoring the phone and report back if I notice anything worth sharing.

Yipiee: Paypal is working now with fingerprint sensor, never done it before.
4G i think it is more stable, but we will see...
Bluetooth seems to be also more reliable.
I had some trouble, that the UMI wasn't reconenting to my fitness tracker --> until now it is working..

Updated, but as i had no reason to touch my phone after that i have nothing else to report.
And even if i had then it would be problematic too as i have not really had any problems with my new phone, so will have to lean on the expert users and what they comp up with.

Up to now, it looks like the battery still drains super fast, even worst quite disappointed :-(

Yes battery do drain fast i noticed too, and while this is also a important thing for expert users and casual users too the UMI guys can only fix so many things at once.
I just handled my phone and yes fingerprint reader seem much better now, and thats also very important as i think most users will be using that and so it was the first "grief" they had in their phoning experience.

As i recall there is also additional battery saving features in Nougat, but lets hope they get that dialed in too for the current android.

Please be patient with the battery drain..
So far i think the battery overview is showing more than before..
I had before only: Display, sleeping mode and Wifi, sometimes 2 or 3 other things --> now every App is listed.
After every ROM flash it needs 2-3 battery charging cycles until the normal battery usage can be seen.
that means, during the ROM update, they reset the caches on the phone, the phone need to rebuild, that takes a little bit more processor time.

Bad thing is:
they did not implemented the actual security Patch from Google.
it is still on January 2017.

Hi All,
I've recently updated my Umi Z and it seems as if Launcher3 is failing to load.
I have obviously restarted, shut down the device and cleared the cache.  Still no luck and I'm unable to use the device.
Any ideas?
