[HELP] Many problems on the UMI Z

Problem are in the phone :
I don't move the phone and the signal go to 0 next 5 next 0 everytime !

I will try to change IMEI

SIM disconnected is a problem of the phone not of me !
Not appear only on me

I know only one sim card can support data , the error appear when i want to use the second card with turbo download , it doesn't work

I don't say my phone connect to public wifi , i say it activate by itself ! not by me , it's not a notification , it's a activation.


Data is lagging too on this phone

Never show problem like that wth Xiaomi Phones

IMEI is a unique phone identificator that is not easily changed. It wouldn´t solve your problem and also would most likely void your warranty.

The IMEI will solve my problem on 4G with "Free Telecom" but it will not solve problems of this phone !
Many problems on 3G and not on 4G with " Orange Telecom " why ?

I'm having the same problems with 3G, using 02 and e-plus Germany.
Focus of the camera doesn't work properly, pictures are not sharp and oversaturated and have too much red.

But my major problem occured a week after use: at the begin my UMI Z supported USB-OTG. I used that function with an USB-OTG Cable and an USB-C Adapter with an external keyboard. It also recaognized an USB-stick that way. But all of a sudden it doesn't work anymore. Charging is working, the phone is also recognized by the PC but no longer with USB-Sticks or the external keyboard (I tried out different USB-OTG-cables, adapters, Sticks, whic all work finde with my old phone but not with the UMI Z).

I did the update. After USB-OTG issue I reset the phone several times. This did not bring USB-OTG back. I wasted so much time to run the phone properly and am very disappointed so far.

Hopefully someone can help me with the USB-OTG issue

[size=27.6014px]Not appear only on meMaybe because you have hardware problem you losing your network signal. I would try swap sim cards between sim slots and try again.

Maybe your network doesn't support fast downloading or sim card is incompatible.
Again please swap sim cards.
You can try type in to dialer *#*#4636#*#*
Then phone information. Please test ping etc

Yes I understand but maybe this option is trips wi-fi to be activated as similar faults was on other device.

Data on 3G or 4G? Again maybe hardware problem with sim slot or sim cards. Please swap sim cards. Or maybe only use one sim card and test for few days.

[size=27.6014px]Xiaomi has completely different issues with system and hardware. But this doesn't mean that is perfect.

what does the little R mean over the 3G signal indicator? i got it too but only when i am on 3G, if i am on 4G there is a little 4G symbol.

R is mean roaming.
If you using third party network provider you will get this R on notification panel. To use data you need go to settings - more - mobile networks - data roaming - on

If your 3G sim card is in third party network provider you could experience some issues but this will be not phone fault. Most time you will get data lagging, SMS delivery delays, you will bet not in range sometimes etc.
If you use free network on other phone you can copy IMEI number from him to umi Z
