How to use the S View cover

I got the case and it works for me. It appears to work off of a magnetic sensor instead of the proximity sensor. I noticed this because the screen turns to the clock if I push the front of the case flat against the back of the phone. You can also find the magnet in the case cover on the inside edge of the circle cutout.

Here are my settings. (Don't think they really make much of a difference.)

I had the same problem with the case. In the end I found out that housing is a magnet factory installed upside down. I had to carefully cut out and rotated. Then everything works ok

I can see that you have app permission activated so maybe you need give permission to screen clock or simply deactivate app permission only for trying.

The problem comes from the magnet which is in the flip cover which is not powerful enough (picture 1) and is not detected by the magnetic sensor which is behind the screen. When a more powerful magnet is placed on the screen (picture 2), It is detected by the sensor and the clock is displayed. Do the test !

I just noticed that the magnet is mounted upside down in the flip cover !!!
I will try to open it and put it in the right direction! :-)

thanks chucky and all others for fiddling all the puzzle parts together. I can confirm that also on my flip case the magnet seems to reverse placed. if i do the mobile out of the case and I flip the front cover I can "start" the clock.
I bought the flip case on amazon from the seller easybuy. I started a return shipment (product does not work as described) and linked to this thread. I got answer that I get an refund an a returnshipment is not possible/needed.

In fact I would like to use the flip case as designed. So can anyone tell us which shop/reseller/seller is offering a "original" UMI flip case which is working, so I can also order....

I tried mine but didnt work. What I do wrong? I tried cover both sides avoiding magnet upside down :-(
