Umi Plus - Reboots when switching to Wi-Fi.

\n\nI have the same problem. The worst it gets is with the WiFi on in the car. This is because you are constantly traveling in and out of range of WiFi signals. The Plus then constantly resets if I leave the WiFi on in the car. If I turn the WiFi off, there are no resets. I thought it might have been a hardware problem at first, but now I am convinced that the WiFi is the problem.

The resets are not full reboots, because they only last about 15 seconds before the phone is useful again. The biggest problem is that the resets occur during calls.  Fortunately the call is still in progress after the 15 seconds is up and the phone is useful again. But it is a pain trying to have a conversation with constant resets.

If this issue wasn't existing on older ROM, so please downgrade to older version and test for few days.

The resets have happened to all versions of Nougat on the Plus. I realize that I can downgrade to Marshmellow, but I do not wish to do so at this time. Hopefully, the software guys can figure this out quickly and we will get a fix in the next release of Nougat.

Did you ever performed factory reset? (settings - backup and reset - factory data reset)

its 7.0 related, i tested all roms of umi nougat. i flashed marshmellow and it works fine again.

Yes, I have factory reset the phone when I upgraded to Nougat. I have also had to reset other times to try to get root in Nougat. I was finally able to root only with the TWRP made by shadimar69.
