They reply by saying your device's issues represent an isolated case and that you should contact your reseller and ask for replacement or refund.

So they do occsionally reply but not with anything very constructive!?!?

They're not really filling me with confidence about purchasing one of their devices ATM

I really don't get why these companies offer such a lack of support. The first cheap Chinese smartphone maker to offer a decent level of support - and English language support - will IMHO massively improve there worldwide sales (and reputation).

I dont see why they dont emply a few good English (not Chinglish) speaking support staff to monitor the forums and social media etc - Surly the benefits certainly outweigh the costs etc???

Food for thought @UMI Staff (If you ever read this!)
