Hi there,

I also have this issue. Have you had any luck searching elsewhere for answers, I cant fin ...

So far no luck.
If a solution comes then I will post it here.

My headset buttons work fine. So I think you have two separate issues.

Yes, if a complete reflashing doesn't change anything, then that must be a hardware issue.

Is a complete reflash something I can do?

Yes, you can do it. Refer to This page and 'Install with Flashtool'.

the links
VCOM https://drive.google.com/file/d/ ... wX1JFNG8/edit?pli=1
and
SP Flash Tool V5.13.52 here: http://goo.gl/wvNnTn
do not work (file not found)

I already have 1.5 - are you sure this flash could make a difference?

I have this issue too. I'm reflashing using the WP8 0806 rom from Rootjoy to see if that works. If not, I'll just try the engineer settings. When will a new update be out to fix all these issue? It's not like they're small issues, especially the audio freezing one.

I have this issue too with my new IRON in V1.5.
The clicking noise appears with every kind of sound (media, system, applications ...) only when the sound starts. It seems like if there is "parasit" when the audio flux begins to be send to the jack.

Got my Iron today and fixed this problem via Engineer Mode.
bencebacsi posted the steps in this thread already.

For me the clicking noise and the max volume issue (with freeze and restart) is not the same issue. I have set the max volume for headset to 80 and no more freeze issue and restart with the 2 last levels volume. I still have the clicking noise issue.

same here. the Engineer Mode eliminates system crashes and maybe other problems but the clicking is still there. so we are dealing with different issues.
For me lowering the Engineering settings is not so great because the click remains at the same volume. This means while all sounds are now not so load the click remains very loud. This is very very hurtful. I had to raise the max levels again ....
