Thank you. I know the amount of pixels will be the same and I am not trying to play 2k or 4k normal videos. I am talking about spherical 360 videos where you see only 1/6 of video on the screen. There is a plenty of mobile phones with FHD display that can play 4k spherical videos (that is why i am using 1080s/2160s not 1080p/20160p). I know there is a cap for recording video 1080p/30fps but playing video should be supported. You can see here that this chip features "4K Video Encoder".
Nevermind, you can close this topic. I found out on official website of Mediatek that it really does support max 1080p. Pity tho, all other chipsets (P20, X10, X20, X25) support 4k.
