Ive seen the youtube vid, not impressed by the vienna either.
It will have to be a massive software improvement. Honestly the comparison with what my old Galaxy S4 did was worlds apart in the same conditions. Staggering!
Umi have hyped the quality of this camera but released a way below par product. They have to expect flack for that.
The fix needs to be massive and come quick or this phone goes back to whence it came!

Could someone try another cam app?

You can choose a white balance template manually. As I see on the sample photos, the color becomes yellowish only in the period of sunset, when the colors are really yellowish. The software just doesn't corrects the colors in such situations. That can be solved by a software update.

P.s.: Don't use HDR when capturing moving objects. Tree leafs, flowers etc. outdoor are moving. You can use HDR when capturing buildings, standing people etc.

The sun was high in the sky when I did my tests.
I hope the software update does fix these problems.
If they can get the camera up to the standard of my old S4 then I can probably make do but at present the gulf is considerable. Not just in colour but in image detail as well.

Since yesterday, there was a Update OTA, i think there some improvements i see. Taken some pictures with Camera MX and the standard camera app. The colors are more natural, sharpness is better IMO. Can anyone confirm?

I have been setting white balance instead of relying on auto, it does help.
Have not taken any video of yet. Interested to see how that goes.

Recent russian professional review of device. Yes, the fotos at daylight are green-yellow overflown.

There is another problem according to the review!!!

Night videos with flash are ONLY 12 FPS!

Umi, are you crazy? You ardvertized this camera like the greatest advantage of Umi S, especially at night!
