Hello, the WIFI disabling Option exists, but it's hidden. In the attached picture there is the solution. Personally tested: I've disabled bot persistent wifi and bluetooth scanning. Clean the cache by recovery, et voilà the wifi battery drain is history. Try yourself ;) 2 days lasting battery.

Searching for one.. at the moment is the 2nd battery draining item in the list. Today has drained the same as the screen! But now wifi drain is really very low.
I tried the same method in order to select what wifi band (marshmallow drains when dealing with 5ghz wifi networks). I found the hidden menu voice but it redirects to the wifi advanced page with has non wifi frequency selection option ..

Please try to use a dedicated app like GSam Battery Monitor to measure the power consumption of specific items. Maybe just the stock battery meter gives a false result.

Same problem here, big wifi drain, I've tried dalidah option but finally it didn't help.
We had same problem with Umi touch before last update.

Dear users,

Did you try to measure the battery power consumption with a specific app like the one that I mentioned earlier?
