After downloading the update, I now notice that my music player keeps the screen on all the time. This will drain the battery very quickly.

If there are more bugs (like Gallery and some other apps disappeared), is there a way to revert to the previous version?

\n\nSo far this is my experience with the latest update.

-Every notification i get wakes up the phone, even when Play Store updates an app and that drains a lot of battery just waking up every few seconds.

-I am unable to close any app, for example if i am using facebook i press the home button and when i try to close it with the overview button its gone and wont let mi close it, if i open it again it starts as if i never closed it and again this drains a lot of my battery because the apps wont close.

-The list from apps using battery from configurations still appears as blank.

-The fingerprint sensor just keeps vibrating like crazy if it touches my pocket.

Im sorry that sounded a bit harsh, im kinda mad my battery just drained very fast during the day.

This update had also good things, i loved the new Navigation bar settings specially the hide option <3

In case you are wondering, Yes, i flashed te previous version of the stock rom because i had TWRP and i was unable to update, as soon as i was able to i update i didn't even install any apps.

I think the screen waking up for notification is a cool feature as we don't have led light. But it should be for specific things like messages, reminders, calendar events, etc all the important stuff. I have had a few random screen waking up, even though there was no notification.

The deleted messaging, gallery and browser stock app is a good thing,as it frees up our internal storage. And they have also put a different stock Messages app by Google, Google photos as gallery alternative and Chrome for browsing, so we don't need them. But i think most of us uses the stock Gallery app instead of Google photos.

I also encountered freezing when using youtube app. I couldn't go to home, app switcher or go to settings from pull down menu, also power button on/off didn't help unfreeze. I couldn't do anything in the youtube app, but the video was playing. It lasted until the 5 min video ended, then i was able to.

We do need battery usage data of the apps btw, it does not show anything at all.

Full version of Facebook appeared too slow and used too much resources on the UMIDIGI A1 Pro, which is a relatively slow smartphone. Facebook did not run reliably in either internal or adopted storage. After switching to Facebook Lite there were no issues. Faster and reliable!

Really ? I didn't have any issues with the full version, it is very smooth for me.

I noticed that my facebook app does not show up in the recent app switcher, so I can't switch back to facebook from another app. Also, if i open from app drawer then it opens where left off, meaning it's continuously running in background

I think that my battery is a bit early empty, normal a whole day but since the update I dont get the whole day

Yes, I can confirm that. Once launched Facebook cannot be closed, only by forced shutdown in the Apps menu of Settings.
