Hi,
For first issue please perform factory reset in settings - system - reset options.
Unfortunately google search bar can't be removed from desktop if is not root.

Is it possible to activate Developer options in the Umidigi One (Pro)?

They are usually enabled in the following way:
1. First, open up your Settings app.
2. Scroll all the way down to find "About phone"
3. Scroll down again and find the entry with the Build number.
4. Start tapping on the "Build number" section, Android will now pop up a message informing you that in x amount of clicks you will become a Developer. Keep tapping until the process is complete.
5. With that out of the way, go back to the main Settings menu and you will now see "Developer options" listed somewhere at the bottom of the list.

don't why user can't create new topic, everyone need to jump to this thread to voice their issue, anyway i got umidigi one, after the wireless update: current UMIDGI_ONE_V2.0_20180815_20180903-2051 the call in volume is very low, i need to install a third party app just to increase the handset volume. before the update is call in volume is ok.

+1 Desmond, yeah we should be able to create topics in here to ask questions or pheraps some users to put tutorials in here etc...Such a nice phone and such a small comunity

Yeah the google widget can not be removed sadly without root. Another option would be to install Pie Launcher 9.0 from Play store.
Maybe try a clear data/cache on the camera app.

im enjoying the phone daily driver usa user works great just camera slow and no options please do something other then that love it yes you can activate developer mode. same way as all phones.

same for me, I can't make a new topic so I also post it here, I have 2 annoying issues with the one pro after a while of use:
- regularly random apps will immediately close while trying to open/start the app (even google play), closing all apps does not help, only restarting the phone seems to help
regularly the keyboard won't show up anymore in a text window, this happens in any app (whatsapp, email, browser, google etc), again the only way to make it work again seems restarting the phone, sometimes I have to restart the phone several times a day, I already did a factory reset once, but did not seem to make any difference

The phone will end up in a drawer somewhere this way pretty soon unfortunately....guess it's back to the horrible company samsung s9, don't understand what people like about it, except maybe for the camera...

Anyone use Umidigi Q1? I had purchased the Q1 and use for 14 days without any issue but yesterday when I try to charge my Umidigi One Pro, it does not work anymore.

I tried direct plug in the cable into the HP and it is working,only using the Q1 does not work.

Any idea what is the issue?
