Is it possible to do that flashing in Linux? I tried this from some other post here a couple of months ago and it did not work and i ended up with a nasty virus and had to reformat my drive, reinstall Windows 10, reinstall all my software and it was a bitch. If I do it again, I would like to do it in a protected environment like a temporary Linux OS.

You can't change system due to protection, only you can flash Basic ROM from here

This will allows you to change launcher etc

You can switch off freezer. Touch desktop on free space for few seconds, you will get option on bottom of screen, desktop settings and switch off freezer

I might have to try that; I will first need to find a good replacement for Freezer on the Google PLAY so i can freeze apps that have adware

That worked. I found a freezer app on Google PLAY, deactivated the UmiOS Freezer app, installed the PLAY store freeze app.
