umidigi for not releasing kernel so ...

Unfortunately umidigi don't want to release the source and they are not respecting the GPL GNU license.
Me and my team we are working to this build.

UMIDIGI should release the source, otherwise building a new kernel will be very difficult for us.

Well, they won't release the source code... Unlike other brands like vernee or elephone... So I will be switching over my next phone to a brand who really release sources..
I had an offer to buy an umi z with the helio x27 but the lack of support changed so that i probably switch to a vernee apollo x for the same price (helio x20 so a lot slower) but on that phone is 7.1.2 mad os... Ciao

I did agree with Wooley4766 and others UNI customers to change to OTHER BRAND who give and care
supportings.

It seems that the reason for UMIDIGI not releasing the source code its due to them not having the complete source code.
Apparently UMIDIG devs have only a part of it.
The other part is held by third party, I guess.
