I had the same as you with previous Android 7 builds the latest is untested. I can't test it because this is gonna be my navigation only phone cause when the screen broke I had to find a replacement (and did) and couldn't wait and bought a Red(rice) if you know what I mean.
Btw  @Ben @MarcinP fast charging is now working and fingerprint scanner also.. It paid sending the logs from charging and scanner to the devs. Thank you. Not perfect but heading the good way.

that is the big problem with all these updates, updates are creating other problems and found out that sometimes
afther updating something is working perfectly and the other time  it does not work at all or with bugs.
The bluetooth section of the umi super is  very weak and i think this has to do with the metal backcover
on the backcover on the inside is a big antenna sticker, but it is covered with metal so reception is bad
the anteanna sticker makes no sence if it is full metal covered my bluetooth always gave dropouts whan the distance is more tehn 2 meters (6 feet)and is not enoug and has all to do with the bad reception caused buy the bad antenna, very sad because the hardware is ok
i found a way to update from android 6 to the latest ota update and everything is working fine.
have to have twrp installed and a rooted umi super
download Flashfire from playstore and install.
first make a backup of you`re full system.
download all 4 ota`s and put these on a sd card.
start flashfire en install all 4 updates one afther another .
with doing that i had a flauwless working android 7.

flashfire is working prefectly in combination with twrp on a rooted the umi super.
after updating you`re android 7 system will also will stay rooted an twrp will be protected and works 100% on android 7.
flashfire is protecting recovery and root

i prefer to stay on android 6 with exposed installed and some modules, this way i can costumize my phone as i you wish

I my opinion a update to android 7 makes no sense and is useless if it does not add some features in fact there are less,
the only advantage on android 7 are some security updates, thats all.

In my opinion umi super is a great phone for the price and had a lot of fun with it and is almost unbrickable.

LTE band 7 (2600) not working. Same problem on V7.01_20170607 as before. I posted this issue many times and still no response from Umi.
I recently received my new Umi Super and updated to the last firmware V7.01_20170413, everything worked fine except for the 4G. I live in an area where band 7 (2600) is available but the phone can't connect to it. Of course, my preferred network type is set to 4G/3G/2G (auto).
I read a lot about the issue on the internet but I can't find a solution.
I checked the BandMode on the phone by dialing *#*#3646633#*#*, band 7 is included and checked. However, when I tried to remove the other LTE bands and keep only band 7, I got a message explaining that the list can't be empty ("Failed. The band is changed from not null to null, it is illegal"), though the list was not completely empty because band 7 was still selected.
Also, I tried to change the radio band by dialing *#*#4636#*#*, but process com.android.phone stopped working when I pressed "select radio band", even after I cleared cache in phone and sim apps.
I tried to factory reset and to switch between 3G and 4G settings, but nothing works.

Can anyone tell me how to fix the problem to get connected to 4G.

Thanks

Please go to car dealer and ask for radio update. Don't forget that you changed firmware version that wasn't updated that was firmware upgrade.
I tested Bluetooth on Nissan and Hyundai cars on different radio versions.

If I correctly remember LTE band 7 is used in cities so maybe you have this issues due to big mass number caused network overloaded. Please try sim card in different phone and also ask in network shop for latest sim card version.
Then use only one sim card in your super and set all APN also you can change sim card slot.

I don't think it is a car issue...other phones work perfectly with my car bluetooth system...btw I have citroen c4
I have made all the updates OTA...even the android 7 upgrade...do you think I have to flash again the last firmware with SP to make a clean install?
