Super - Android 6

Hello all,

i have a UMI Super with 20161121.ROM and i search to root the phone and install TWRP recovery.
i have test a lot of scatter file and a lot of TWRP3.02 but any of them work.I have a reboot with black screen or the droid lay down all the time.
Can somebody help me and someone have make it succesfull with this rom?

Hi,
Use the same version of ROM you have installed on your phone and the TWRP and other resources, that you can find here: http://community.umidigi.com/thread-2962-1-1.html.
After flashing the TWRP image, first time you have to boot into recovery or the stock recovery will be restored. It's very important to turn on your phone with pressing both the power and volume-up buttons together but when you see the boot screen, release the power button immediately but keep the vol-up button pressed until you see the TWRP welcome screen. At the first time booting into TWRP you also have to root your phone with SuperSU or you may get a boot loop.

i have allready test this method with the scatter file of my rom and TWRP 3.02 by gemini (the date for this is 20160825 by memory)but doesn't work.
i have try to downgrad to the same rom of the twrp file but doesn't work too.Black screen when i do that.

Any other suggestion to root the phone?

Any new update UMI SUPER V7.01.20170413 we will see if they fixed the bug with no loading fast remaining gps errors for nothing and the screenwith off screen when talking does not work properly the ear touches the screen and clicks what do you want sorry was not supposed to be?

Sorry but not remotely without holding your device in hand. Try to follow every point of the instructions from word to word. It really doesn't make sense which ROM version you have installed on your phone, the provided TWRP works with all of them without any issues. It was tested really a lot of times.

After yesterday update 30% battery is charging 1.5h or is it normal where quick charging someone to explain to me?

Hi everyone, I tried to make a flash of the stock ROM 20161121_c239v55_kw_u1 on my Umi Super via SPFT, in order to install the TWRP later, but now my Umi is left with the black screen, the touch works but there is no image whatsoever. All drivers are working, SPFT succeeds in flashing device, but it does not show any image. Could someone please help me?

We are now 6 months into the NEXT year, and there is still no (working) Nougat ROM!

Sorry but what are you talking about? There are 4 Nougat updates available and provided here.
