Hi,

To update you all on this.
It looks like due to that Google Contacts Sync bug one of my contacts I think the last one in alphabetical order turned rogue and it was swallowing other contacts edited or created since the bug was introduced.
You can distinguish it by the number of phone numbers assigned to it. Over time it will increase.
To resolve this issue I have deleted this contact from my Contacts then things return to normal.

It was so bad to select recent apps, you had to hold and wait a second to get it. Now, using fooView it's OK.

I already many times reported this request to the developers, even before the first owners started to use UMI OS based models. We'll see what happens.

Info widget You can disable it going to settings - tree dots show all apps - find him (don't remember the name) and close, disable.

Clock doesn't ring.. Sometimes

I've seen people have this problem with other models. Seems to be intermittent. For me it ring when I test it, setting it some minutes from now, but in the morning nothing.
The ring sound isn't on SD card. I used stock app and google app with same issue.

Well, I live with this phone almost one month. I have never met so annoying phone, full of bloatware and adaware, not possible to remove them because of that crap UMI OS..Not possible to root, even not to use custom launcher, absolutely useless phone. I will try to sell it half price but previously I ensure UMI that I will inform thousands of guys In local forum what shit is..Pitty

I think the hardware is nice, but the ROM is really a problem. I have poweramp as an audio player and it keep telling me the licence can't be found.. Never had this problem with other android. So no audio player, no alarm clock, and no custom launcher.
Looks like umidigi is focus on its more shining models, I would recommend buyer to wait and see.
