Well, I'll have to back track on this. Today, I tried again to use my UMi Super as hotspot (as out corporate network was down this morning). And to my surprise - It connected even if the phone was set to 2.4 GHz!
Afaik, the phone hasn't even been restarted since my last try, when the (same) computer refused to connect using 2.4 GHz.

Hello everybody,

now I am on ver. V7.01_20170413 with ROOT and TWRP
I want to update to this current ROM is it possible with Flashfire or any other way without factory reset?
If yes please how to do that?

Full unroot after using FPFT replace the2017.4.13 original recovery image after you can use OTA upgrade for last version.

Thanks for your explanation. Unfortunately it didn't work out for me, so I ended up doing a full spft-flash which happened to also solve several minor issues my Super gathered after a years use...

Always do a factory reset before u flash any rom with spft.
This is to prevent any strange error after flashing.
Because when there is something left behind from old rom.

Of course it's hot overheating. Android 6 not like this. I find  it Android 7.0 issues .I hope uimi developers can fix it. 7.0 up version Google fixed

I have a question . In the Android 6 version, the camera has a tracking feature for the subject. This was a useful feature. After updating to android 7 I can not know this feature. Is this feature in A7 or has it been liquidated.
