So, here are a few bugs still remaining after the last update, I hope it'll help resolving them in the next update:
- The screen rotation is still not totally functionning, it is kinda random if it works or not
- After a restart of the phone, by default the sound for the notifications is ON, although it was on vibrate mode when turned OFF
- Also, after restarting the phone, the vibration level for the keyboard is back to standard, so not taking into account which level of vibration we chose
- The navigation bar is impossible to get back up if we hide it

Things that could be improved/added:
- A not fake dual camera, as this was advertised when this phone came out ? Because the fake bokeh effect is the crapiest thing I have ever seen, a lying company doesn't have any chance to survive
- Only one 4G symbol to free a bit a notification bar space
- Just a symbol or something else in the notification bar to see if we have any notifications, so we don't have to scroll the notification panel down (which can be tricky with such a big phone when using only one hand )
- Add a double-tap to wake screen option would be nice, it's kinda difficult to find the power button just by feeling it

Hope this helps to improve the phone, I'm really starting to like it, so keep on this way up please !

Today came a new version of the update: 20181013-1247. After a successful system update, the microphone problem persists. microphone on voice calls - DOES NOT WORK. How to deal with a faulty phone? How to get warranty service?

I still cannot use my Z2 as the microphone does not work during calls. the vendor is coolicool and they want a video of the problem. any tips on how to send a video fo the microphone not working??

a new firmware was avaioable yesterday and I updated, but this did not make any difference.

Hi Marcin,

Coolicool is the retailer but they are refusing to communicate. They just keep asking for video of the problem.

As I am a bit dissappointed like most of the others here I try to ask polietly for Umidigi to test their updates before pushing them out. Again the update is garbage as it cannot be installed as I see a dead android after the reboot.
Also btw. what is up with all the security wholes? We are still at 5th of May in terms of security patch level.
If Umidigi is not capable of providing an updated OS that can be updated normally I have to mention that in my review of the Umidigi Z2 on Youtube.

Strange IIelectronics , I have flashed my original Z2 with the last version 20181013 and any problems and the version is stable (of course no nice improvements on camera or other things)   ! But you are true for Android update (security Patches) we are stop at May ! I do not understand why they do not include  in update ...

Since the previous update the camera stopped working in every app, and I can't take a picture in any way. The previous time it happened I solved the issue making a hard reset of the phone, wiping all the data and bringing it to factory settings.
The fact is that I don't have the time to make a backup because of my job, and everytime i loose every file of my phone.
Other than that, I think it's ridiculous that a phone that promises four cameras doesn't make me use the camera. I want a phone that doesn't need to be restored to factory settings to make me use the camera every few days. It's frustating, and for the first time in 3 months I'm starting to think that i made a big mistake spending more than 200€ to buy this phone.
When today I downloaded the new update I was hoping that the issues were solved and that I could start to use my camera again. Instead of that, the new update brought again the same problem. Furthermore you keep releasing bugged updates at the distance of a month from each other.
I'm tired of restoring my phone every few days, it's useless to have a phone with 64 GB and four cameras that doesn't make you use the camera unless you restore your phone. (And I'm not talking about the fact that the secondary cameras, on front and rear are actually useless, since you put them in the phone but they are not used at all by the software, because that's very ridiculous).
Please, fix your issues as soon as possible, or I'll be forced to refund the phone, make negative reviews wherever I can, and buy some phone of your competition. And I speak for me as I think for other Umidigi buyers that are having my same issue, or different issues.

You won't go anywhere keeping to release new smartphones if you leave without support people that bought a phone that you released three months ago.
Just think about making the phone that you arleady released a big phone, and then release a new phone, or you'll loose your consumers.
