Hmm, maybe you can try a factory reset. But I do not know if it helps.

Have you ever tested the sensors? The GPS Status App can test the sensors.

Menue--> Diagnose sensors

With my device something is wrong with the step sensor

Thanks Fyodor ... but this is not a acceptable solution ... despite the chance of damaging the deivce

@plus_user
I don't believe that your GPS works flawlessly on your UMI Plus. You're welcome to demonstrate a working gps with WIFI/3G/4G/LTE data on by video ...

Also, as you can see by the comment of serrucho, the gps issues are persisten on Android 7.0 as well. Factory reseting doesn't change on this fact anything .... since it's a hardware/design issue/problem/fail.

I do not know but my GPS now works outside without jumps...

Could you please make short screen video during the navigation with e.g.  Google Navigation on your UMI Plus?
Many thanks.

See the answer from bencebacsi in the Android 7 beta testing thread
http://community.umidigi.com/thread-5206-2-1.html

First time an UMI administrator admits it's an hardware issue......
Let's try to make critical mass to solve this problem

I don't think the issue is chipset related.
Meizu M3 Note shares the same P10 CPU and the GPS works well, it also shares the same Alluminum body..
Anyway reports say that GPS gets eventi worse in Nougat's Beta. I think the only way is to sell this phone and buy from a more reliable brand
