i've download the a-gps data only one time with the app.

After the download, the gps-fix with Maps was faster and much more accurate.

I updated the tutorial. The a-GPS data must be downloaded outside without the Wi-Fi module switched on. We need accurate position data. Every APP with GPS uses the a-gps and/or NMEA Data. The factory data seems to be inaccurate.

I tried your method but I noticed an increase in jumping, actually.
Even worse.

After studying the subject for some time, I would put my money on the GPS antenna. See my last post in this thread for more info.

You might want to take a look at a couple videos though.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2oNmuNePls

This one makes a theoretically proper antenna out of copper strip, I mean correct length and all. Not a full dipole, yet it gets the job done.

And then, there is this one.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2q_AmYlrwNc

He just solders a piece of wire, never mind length, keeping it straight etc, he even curls it at some point.

It does however illustrates very clearly what can be done with a full plastic back phone.

So, If I had just one thing to ask, that would be "Make the phone with a full plastic back" and we can take it from there.

Maybe you really have a defective hardware. Have you even tried to change your device. Maybe only one batch is defective.

I have no problem with the GPS. My device has an error of about 5 meters and no jumpings

I also do not understand why UMI is not trying to investigate the defective devices?

Did you actually reset your device to the factory setting after the update? I did that right after the update.
