are you serious? the latest version is not absolutely stable ... how do you say that it is stable when a lot of applications close on its own, there are a lot of users who complain about system issues Leaving the GPS that you know in MTK is not the top But when the phone charges you overheat Even with the root there is no way to write to the system partition And I could get you a list of very long problems And you say it is stable ??? But please do not say heresies

I just ask you again, if your phone is defective, request your seller to replace it. When you talk about ''a lot of users'', that's not an accurate data, that can be verified. Who is that lot of users. Moreover, please mention at least 3 such self-clolsing apps to make me able to check them.
Basically not a single words of yours are in touch with the reality but of course, it doesn't mean that, your phone can not be defective. In MediaTek's history only the MT6582 and MT6755 (yes, the one in UMi Plus as well) were proven to provide unstable GPS signal, not generally all MTK processors. It seems you don't really know how to make a smartphone rooted or how to access the system partition on a rooted phone.

Yes, I am agree with you: the latest Android 7 version has absolutely no stability ...

Hi,

I'm sorry but the development team has limited resources and always new models come to the market. So as a result, updates must be finished after a while.

Dear friend, umi plus is a 2016 phone. I can tell you many many phones from 2015 or earlier and they take updates till now. This is not an excuse **there are many other product come in the market **. My plus working in 7 very well but there are many problems with other devices. My son plus when is charging heating very much 45 or 46 degrees, just charging.

''I can tell you many many phones from 2015 or earlier and they take updates till now.''
Could you mention some examples from the same price range and from about the same size of manufacturers like Elephone, Ulefon, Homtom or Doogee? Or do you think a small Chinese company should provide the same level of support, that a giant brand with tens of thousands of employees can do?
Please try to be a bit more realist.
''My son plus when is charging heating very much 45 or 46 degrees, just charging.''
I see but remotely I can't find the reasons. Surely not the system software, so an update wouldn't change it. Maybe there are some processes running in the background, that highly occupies the processor. The heat generated by the processor and the charging process together can cause a higher temperature. The processor and the temperature sensor of the battery are very close to each other.

I am sorry but, i thought that umi is trying to go a level above all these companies you mention before. I thought that umi trying to be bigger. If so, don't tell me all these please. Maybe i was wrong to beleve that umi is going to be a big company in few years with relaible products serious back up to her clients. Sorry for my english
For overheating i didnt mention, charging with the phone close. If the phone open you cant touch it, its very hot

Hi, if you update it from the SD Card you have to update to V3.02_20170412 first.
Then you can install the newest version, at least it worked for me.
