I thought I'd give it a try and disable the "intelligent" power saving, as our friend Relany said before, and the bluetooth didn't disconnect so far. I'm guessing this might be the cause.

It seems I'm having a monologue here, but I need to mention that I'm starting to get tired of the issues of this phone. That's it. Over.

After much consideration I decided going back to Android 6. Now bluetooth became stable and fast. So this is the only way of fixing it.

Unfortunately that's an Android 7.0 bug, not related to UMi software. It's already solved in 7.1 but that version is not available for the Helio P10 processor.

Oh, that's unfortunate. Well, at least 6.0 is stable, so I have an alternative.

After a while having this update the battery had issues like always taking all night to charge only 30% or so, then discharging in what seemed like an instant and the last day it showed 100% while the profile changed to power saving after a few hours, meaning it was below 15%.

So I downgraded to android 6 (20160819, the best one for me) I actually managed to do it after 3 attempts, deleting all my data in the process because otherwise the phone would be glitchy. Anyway I went to flash the TWRP afterwards (done it a million times, it should have been easy) and all hell broke loose.

While flashing, the driver stopped working, it said "unknown device", now the phone is bricked and I cant install the drivers properly of course. How the hell do I install the drivers of the phone?  And no, "download the mtk driver and install" doesnt work, ive tried a million times already.

Hard to tell remotely but you can have both a connection or a driver issue. So you can try to
1. Use another USB cable and/or computer
2. Open your Windows device manager , then connect your phone. As soon as the new com port appears, right click on it and select remove device, then also select (check) delete its driver. Then connect your phone again and you probably will see a different com port name. You might have multiple incompatible drivers installed in your system, so if needed, repeat this procedure again until you see MediaTek Preloader USB VCOM in the list of com ports.
