Am sorry i have the umidigi plus e with that version of rom and i have a sim cart and sd cart problem. Phone sometimes not read them . Can answer why?

It can be caused by a deformed SIM tray/socket or dirt on the contact pins. try to several times pull out and push in again the SIM try while your cards are installed. First power off your phone, of course.

Hello,
I have hade this phone for almost a year now and i  installed the OTA update from last summer, and now i am facing issues with the phones functions.
When i use the diffrent apps or trying to go to setting later Apps, the OS is crashing. Smart Luancher Also crash all the time. and Blutooth cant find devices.
My i ask why you dont keep update the phone OS and Software anymore?

Hi,
This model has been discontinued, so it won't receive further updates. However, if you installed an update now after a so long time of usage, it is recommended to perform a factory data reset for proper working.

Why discontinued so fast? how old is this phone?  and what made that Umi just decided to disscountinue a phone? You see you, i just bough 2 pcs of Umidigi S2 Pro, one for me and one for my wife, may i ask you kindly, will you disscountinue those models also?
And my i also ask the question why Umidigi claims that Umi S2 Pro has two cameras when only one is working?
Okey i get it it, you may disscountinue any model as much as you want, but why not put same OS or a upgraded software in all your Phone OS so mean while you are fixing your buged Android phone that you push out in the market, so we customers who are big fans and love your smartphones can downloaded those fix.
What your doing to your customers are filthy, what are you people a band of thives and how long do you think you can do this to your customers befor they all realize your ugly faced dirty buisness.

Every model gets discontinued after a while. I could return a question: Why do some of you think that, to release such updates is just the question of a decision? No, that's a huge work, just to apply a new security patch needs to update about 800 files in the system and that doesn't work automatically. That needs a long time and careful, professional development and testing work. UMIDIGI is a small brand with limited human resources while MediaTek limits even the available software resources - still there are no MTK based smartphones on earth with an already released Android 8 system. So you simply can't expect the same level of support beside the much lower price, what those world brands can offer. That's not a real expectation.

Such a problem - the sound in the speaker periodically disappears. No call, no sound in multimedia files. If you press the Home button and keep it clamped, there is always sound. Sometimes it's restored when you release the button. reset firmware, flashing firmware did not change anything. If you flashed your phone with sp flash tool in firmware upgrade mode, but your issue still persists, then it rather seems to be a hardware defection, so your phone must be repaired. There's nothing to do about it in engineer mode.
