Z Pro wifI and power usage issues. - SOLVED

My wifi is set to NEVER stay awake when phone sleeps.

Even when turned off, it still consumes power.


Phone sometimes decides not to go to sleep.


Requires hard reboot to resolve it.

Its happening on a daily basis.


Can Umidigi fix this? This is the only major issue that stops me from wanting to keep the phone.


Overall, it's a really good phone and has great potential.

Getting crazy today..WiFi was turned off but statistics show it was running despite being turned off.

I checked in the Router's connected devices and the Umi seems to keep connecting/Disconnecting all the time, even if the Wifi is set to be turned off then the phone is in sleep mode.

Maybe it's the Chinese backdoor Adups?

Also the 3G/4G in this phone is acting strange.

Have you disabled wifi scanning ?

search for it in settings.

That being said my Z ( non pro ) also list wifi use though i also have the damn thing turned off as i dislike wifi.

You're right. It was on. Didn't see that setting buried in there. Was looking for it under location scanning settings.
