Application sync problems

Not sure what I did with my Umi Z, but my apps don't sync properly. I have to open applications manually, forcing a sync.

Anyone experienced something similar? I've tried enabling/disabling background sync, roaming, permission control. I believe this started with the last update, but I might have done something on my own..

This wan't be probably of much help but there are applications like GMail or so with their own sync settings...

I am aware of that, but all applications are affected.
