Hey, I  ...

Format + download is only used when phone is with virus or completely bricked or incorrect firmware used.
You could use only download or firmware upgrade as you flashing full ROM with all partitions.
About memory. So system is taking around 1.9 GB when is "packed"  but during flashing is unpacking (installing all drivers and other stuff) which takes up to 8GB.
So if you have 32GB ROM memory you have around 24 GB for you

If I could have my time again I would have stayed with Android 6 too. My 3 Barclays banking apps (the biggest bank in the work) just crash after you run them, so no phone banking for me until the next release. (PS. I'm really, really pissed off with UMI for not testing this upgrade before release)

As for downgrading, I really can't see them releasing it - I would do it like a shot if they did.

My banking apps also crashed but after a clean install of Android 7 they all have worked OK. It's not unheard that you must perform a clean install after a major update. So you go to Android 6 and have to make a clean install or  keep 7 but with a factory reset. Your choice.

I'll start with a factory data reset. If that doesn't work well I'll downgrade to 6.x.

Factory data reset didn't solve it.

Listen, you need to wipe the whole phone. use TWRP to whipe EVERYTHING..When you leave TWRP it should warn you that you dont have a OS installed, which in this case is good. Then re-flash N7 with SPFT  Post time 2017-2-22 23:46

Hey, I want to ask a quick question, i want to downgrade to android 6. But if i skip step 6. Don`t i need first to change that to "Format All+Download".Just asking i am interested how to do it correctly not to brick my phone, never used SPFT.

P.S.: Did it that way ("Format All+Download") and lost my IMEI: it shows 1111111 and 222222
P.S2: I restored my IMEIs but now another problem
in storage it says 1.67 gb of 24 gb total?? What does that means i shrunk the total memory? Did i flashed it corectly (as it works fine i think yes)? What do u reccomend me? its 32 gb storage on this phone and it seems like 8 are just lost?? Does reflash fixes this? Sorry for long post just `st time reflashing umi phone.
