Super´s speaker is not working

I have beenusing my UMI Super for about 15 days and yesterday the speaker stop working.The UMI has never fall down or suffer from any other damage. If I plug anearphone I can hear music perfectly, the same if I connect other speaker byusing Bluetooth but the UMI Super´s speakers are not working for anything.  It does not sound with an incoming calleither.

I don´tknow if it is a hardware problem or a software problem. What do you thing? Anyrecommendation? I´m angry because it´s a new phone and I like it, but thissituation is very disappointing.

I reallyappreciate your help.

You are sitting here promoting owners of Umi devices to act like hardware engineers and repair faulty components. I find that very suspect and strange. I live in the UK and bought my Umi super from a big UK seller based in Manchester. If any hardware malfunctioned for no apparent reason the last thing I would do is watch a YouTube video by Jerry Riggseverythig to open my device, he's a professional and does that for a living.

Otherwise you can contact to seller for warranty.
Hopefully they offer for you some refund and then you can buy new loud speaker from here

Before everything I would recommend open phone and check for loose contact in loud speaker.

You give very poor advice. If he opens the device he void the warranty.

Just contact the seller and send the phone back for a replacement device or a full refund. DO NOT MESS AROUND WITH THE INTERNAL COMPONENTS OF A PHONE UNLESS YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL OR OUT OF WARRANTY.

For money payed to return device and probably 1 to 3 months waiting time he can get some money refund from sellers which cover faulty part and phone will be fixed in less than 1 month.

Thanks for your advice how I should doing my job!
So if your seller is in Manchester please try send your device there.
We see what happen.
Don't forget that not everybody is so lucky to have seller in his own country and shipping cost could be very high or impossible due to battery in device.

I already performed a factory reset but the problem persist. Today, when i wake up it's sound was back again but when i put a higher volumen it stop sounding againg. I don't know what to do. I thing i'm going to send it back forma waranty but i think that is going to take some time to get another phone back againg.

The actual update of the sistem is UMI SUPER.v3.02_20161017. It came with that.

Download the latest firmware 20170123 for the Umi super through the forum and use SPFT for a total wipe and clean install of your system Format all + Download. In case the problem you have is due to sound driver issues which a factory rested wont solve. Your phone could suffer from corrupted lib files and sound driver files.

That way you will know for sure it isn't software related, which i personally believe reading what you just said it worked for a while earlier today but stopped working when you turned up the volume.

The downside formatating the phone in Format+Download mode is that you will have to recover your imei number with SN writer tool after the format and installation of the rom.

If that doesn't solve your speaker sound issue you know for a fact its a hardware problem and should go for a full refund by the seller. DO NOT OPEN THE PHONE UNLESS YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH IT, IT WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY.

I agree with @Makaveli. Of course the average consumer should not open their phone. MarcinP is an admin and giving such advice of opening the phone instead of using the warranty means that. Since it's such a hassle to send back your phone to the sell and claim the warranty. It's better not to buy a phone outside your country.
