I bought an UMI SUPER phone on Oct 29 2016 on and since i received the phone that it randomly restarts at least 9/10 times per day. After reading some similar problems on UMI forum i found that a remote firmware update would help solving  these problems. Since i made the firmware upgrade to version UMI_SUPER_V3.02_20161017 (the lattest version), the restart issues only happens a few times per week  but in last week, when the phone restarts, it completely dies and i cannot turn it on again. When i try to turn it on, it shows the UMI logo and instantaneously reboots then it stays in loop doing that: UMI LOGO -> RESTART -> UMI LOG ->  RESTART ->.... Its important to refer that the battery is no dry... usually when it happens the battery is > 50%.
The only way i can bright it back is to make an hard reset (VOLUME UP + POWER BUTTONS ).. .then i can wake up the phone again. In the last days i have been having a terrible experience  with the phone and i have been loosing extremely important calls because sometimes phone stays dead for several hours without receiving any call or message. UMI is probably the worst phone i had... I already bouth  50€ phones that worked better than this one. Anybody experienced something similar?

You should re-flash your device with SPFT from this link

Hi
I didn't say update. I said flash with SPFT. Firstly you can do factory reset. To do this please go to settings - backup and reset - factory data reset. You will loose all data from phone but system will be back to factory settings.
To do SPFT please download all ROM files, SPFT and vcom drivers from here
http://community.umidigi.com/thread-5765-1-1.html
And you can read basic information about SPFT tool from here

Hi again. Thank you for your help. The SPFT tool was not working at the first time i tried to flash the phone... then i tried the wifi update. Now the SPFT tool worked when i reinstalled the VCOM driver. I will give some time for the new rom reveal if the problem was solved. Once again, thank ou for your help.

I again, the problem of the reboot seems to be solved, but now i am without sound on the loudspeaker. I've tryed to listen something on the headphones and worked Ok but i can't replay it on loudspeaker... no ringtone and no alarms either. I already tried a factory reset and the issue remains. I don't know what else should i do. This phone is total flop and it has been giving me problems since day one. This phone has beena huge disappointment.

If MarcinP tell you to open the device and dissembling it to look if the speaker connector has been detached don't do it! I've seen a few responses on this forum by this admin and he's a total vigilante and cowboy. Mama mia!

Hi Everyone,

The only thing it was missing for me to try was to upload of the newest ROM (V7.01_20170123 Android 7.0 firmware
for UMI Super), which i did. The result was the same... NO SOUND AT ALL. I wrote an email to Gearbest (where i bought the phone) but i am waiting for their response because of the chinese new year. I don't know if they will return my money or replace the phone.
Until i get a response from them, anyone has any ideas for me to try to wake up the loudspeaker again?

Thank you in advance.
