I found out that once a week my UMi Touch reboots spontaneously. It usually occurs at night.
Apart from that it's impossible te use an SD as internal storage and install apps to it. It won't format when I switch to internal mode. In the regular mode I can format and use the card just fine (and have maps installed to it, but thats impossible for apps). I'm using a SanDisk 64 GB card (90 MBps)..
To rule out the possibility of an existing software error, I suggest you to flash your phone with SP Flash Tool, choosing the 'Firmware Upgrade' option in the flasher application. That process will completely rewrite the whole software content of your device. - You will lose your user data.

Then you may try again to format your memory card as internal storage. I suggest you to erase the content of the memory card before processing it.
The drivers won't install on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.. I notice that drivers for "MT65xx Android Phone" are being installed, but after 5 mins it shows up as "MTP USB-Device which can't be updated, updated, etc. So the procedure for the Touch doesn't work. I tried 2 different procedures, but on both it's a no-go.
When switching on the Phone, drivers are installed and it's displayed as Umi touch in the Windows Device manager.
The preloader drivers are installed, but are not working (yellow exclamation mark).
Since I don't have a 32 bit PC: HELP
Oh, I am a systems administrator so I know pretty well how to update and install drivers..
Edited by argenis1unico at 2016-6-23 07:51 \n\nmy umi touch this often reboot and stays in bootloop , then I have to let down the power button to turn off and then turn it on, it's annoying this, what happens? I have installed updates and really started this yesterday, and I wipe, and returned again with this problem, I hope your help
I updated the firmware that is here, but still keeps resbooting, the durability of the battery is very low, the camera focuses very slow, when the phone is less than 15% of battery can be turned off suddenly, and my phone comes with the LED on the button "back" a little above, not synchronized in place button that should, plus a slight bump carcass having a sharp texture makes up. I am asking my provider "to change this team, but we are still waiting for umi response," I am very very very very very annoying. my provider is COMPASS POINT PRODUCTS. from amazon
