Yeah, Smart Watch is the winner at this moment!

1. power bank? You don't need it for your big-batte ...

Well...
1. power bank - very useful for people who travel regularly
2. wireless in-ear headphones (not BT headset) - as someone who runs regularly, good quality wireless in-ear headphones are essential!
3. A waterproof fitness band with accurate biometrics is a useful device for the health conscious... not just "pinky girls"

I agree though, smart watches are definitely an area with lots of development opportunities at the moment!

I reckon UMI could do a really good smart watch. The important points seem to be stylish (clean lines - some crystal phone looks nice but is bulky) SLIM, 7+ day battery.
Also, I'd love to see some cheap but super high quality audio DAC/AMP for when you plonk your phone down at work, or some clever car interface / holder / charging device preferably not stuck to the screen.
Perhaps some clever viber(sharable)/barcodepay/location/camera flash/battery/wallet type device?

I would like to see an other phablet from UMI ! Like the Cross ! 6" to 6.5" inch ! There is only two phones who interested me now : Ascend Mate 7 & Vibe Z2 Pro .. But too expensive !
A great screen like 1080P mini to 2K , a 4G LTE , great CPU ! Because my 6589T is really laggy now ... So bad 15K" antutu in 2015 !
UMI, what do you think ?

- Regular updates for phones (android 5.1 etc etc...) for a couple of years.
- 4G 800mhz on all phones.

So not exactly a product, but more quality...

How's about a phone with---wait for it---a REAL battery rating*c'mon*, UMI, buck the China trend of "exaggerating" battery size.....), other than that, an Android Wear smartwatch would be nice....but I suppose out of your range of expertise(your not alone here, even the biggest guns in China can't do that... yet). Just doing a rebrand of the schlock that is already out there wont win you any prizes here, or anywhere.

I'd like to see good quality over-ear headphones with Bluetooth 4.1.
Preferably in combination with a separate Bluetooth transmitter which can be connected to an analogue audio output (3.5mm) or an optical digital output (SPDIF).

You can connect the headphones to anything with a built-in Bluetooth transmitter like a laptop, phone, PC, tablet or a TV, but also to other equipment which does not have Bluetooth built-in like non-smart TV's, BluRay players, Set-top boxes, game consoles...and so on.

You can use the headphones by themselves.
You can use the transmitter with the headphones.
You can use the Bluetooth transmitter with other devices.

It should be possible to connect a USB (Type-C?) lead directly into the headphones for direct playback and charging. Because it is a BT headset it should also contain a (noise cancelling) microphone.

The transmitter has to be powered through a built-in battery and/or USB. If it is possible to also use the USB connector to input sound than that could be an added bonus, as would be an option to use the box as a receiver (and thus turning all the inputs into outputs)...but for my suggestion it only has to be a transmitter. It is imperative though that the transmitter has an optical input as that will be a USP seen as there are pretty much no other BT devices that have this option.

From UMI's perspective the headphones and BT-transmitter can be sold as a combo-set but they can also be sold separately, and thus they will appeal to a greater market.
A package consisting of a handset (i.e. UMI Iron with its enhanced audio capabilities) in combination with a top-quality wireless headset could also be very attractive.

At this time I do not think UMI has good (enough) quality headphones, and they have none that are over-ear. Personally I do not find headphones which rest on my ears comfortable and in-ear is good when you are on the move or doing something like exercise, but they lack the improved frequency response that bigger drivers have, especially if there are multiple drivers in a single cup like maybe a 50mm main driver for low/mid frequency and additional 20mm drivers for high frequencies.

I'd be happy to write a detailed proposal if UMI thinks this is a good idea...but this post is probably long enough

Thanks for putting up this poll gruffles. I had the same idea but you have saved me the trouble
