These systems are already compiled for the MT6753 platform, you can rather PORT. What we have to bear is the systems that are not on this platform (MIUI, LEWA, CM12, COLOR OS ...) to those that do not yet exist, we need the source code to compile for these devices. I already have on my UMI IRON PRO running the following systems: EMUI 3.1, CoolUI 6, 360OS, FlymeOS and VIBEOS but still could not help everyone without bugs. but the bugs of each is different. EMUI is the problem of IPR, as the machine is 720p and it gives problem in dialer (resuolução problem). the CoolUI is in error in the camera (not open, says the flah is being used by another application - believe it to be allowed to nvram folder) the 360OS, FlymeOS and VIBE are without running the fingerprint. So just be patient what new Roms appear. In my Mediatek's 6753 community on facebook we are a group that has the source code of the CM12 and are studied to create the same for Coolpad Note 3 and we will try to put it on the maximum number of possible devices.

Unless MediaTek releases their source code to the public or it gets leaked somehow from one of the OEM's, I doubt we will see a port from any of these rom's listed above. I am most confident that there are much more capable developers who can create a fully functionable and good looking rom for this phone. It seems to me that UMI doesn't know what are they doing in both hardware & software matters.

That would be amazing if you guys can actually pull it off. CM12, would really be a improvment in both security and stability. Let me know if you need any test devices. I have my Iron Pro on the way, but I will have it only for a little while, just until the HTC One M10 will come out. This is my first China phone and I am just curious about the build quality.

I have EMUI running on UMI IRON PRO, but I could not leave the display to 480dpi, the rom only supports 320dpi

Can you please share the link to this community are you talking about?
Also you have ported these ROM's or compiled from source?
Have you tried compile it using the P8000's kernel source code?
Visi0nary were able to compile the CM12.1 from source for the P8000. Here are his repos: [link]
Maybe it is easier to start from Visi0nary's work. It is more complete and it is in active development.
