There are only 2 roms "oficially" published by TCL, one is the 5.0.2 AOSP that we already have and the other one is a LEWA (which is closed-source and owned by Lewa Corporation). Keep in mind that while TCL produces UMI's phones, they are separate companies with a market agreement, and not exactly willing to give each other free stuff. TCL will produce what UMI pays for, no more and no less.
I understand that roms for M3g and eMAX mini are developed independently, according to whatever agreements both companies make. That means that even if TCL stops updating their roms (and they appear to already have stopped), we could still have updates as long as UMI continues to pay for them.
These are all theories, however, and I'd like to hear an official statement regarding these matters.

Also, @AlexisTM: the notification LED works out of the box in stock LEWA rom, and after aplying some fixes in other CM-based roms.
