This is the SP Flash Tool version of the v05 0715 firmware for UMI eMAX

Flash tool operation is recommended for advanced users only. Do not use it if you cannot understand the whole process!

Changelog:

• Fixed issue with some languages having problem with accessing the screen settings.
• Camera has been improved.
  

This is the final stock KitKat (Android 4.4.4) firmware for this model!

ROM: eMAX_2015_07_15_ROOT.rar
Extract the .rar file before use. The scatter file (MT6752_Android_scatter.txt) is inside the extracted folder, together with the other elements.

SPFT: SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1548.rar

VCOM driver: Windows 10 can automatically install it. Please make sure that your Windows is logged in with administrator rights and your computer has a working internet connection when first time connecting your phone.

Yes, this is the latest and probably the last one. Updated custom firmware releases can be expected.

Hi maxbass,
Yes, this is the same one (without further modifications) and the primary goal of this flashtool format is to repair bricked phones. It's also available in Rootjoy but you can't repair a bricked phone with that app.
The ghost touch issue is related to defective hardware at some devices, that's not a software problem. For example, I've already bought 2 pcs. of UMI eMAX and the touch screens of both phones work perfectly.

Do i have to unlock the bootloader to install this rom? or is it already unlocked? can i install every rome using rootjoy?

You never have to play with the bootloader at MediaTek based phones. Anyway, this flashing process even replace the bootloader as well.

Yes, the screen probably should be replaced but in the first round, I'd check whether something is wrong with the assembly, that might be corrected without replacing the whole screen.
Thank you for your suggestion about the best available ROM.

Hello respected consultants,
I have a problem on the cell phone eMAX when I tap on the contact name it is takes sometimes five minutes before the list appears. Shutdown and lighting device and tapping contacts is faster.
Is there any advice on how to solve the above problem?
