wrong Flasch for hammer S

Hy i`am from Switzerland and doesend speak so good English

I have my Umi Hammer S with Rootjoy try to Flash, but i accidentally tap to the UMI HAMMER ALiYunOS 3.0.1 0917 for Umi Hammer. But now i dont can make somthing with my Phone. Wehn i start en te Phone it will Reebot automaticli all 10Secends. And I dont can go to the Recovery Mode, because it will reebot to after i press de Volum but dawn after 7Seconds.

Can anyone gife me a hint for my problem.

Hi Fipsi,

Unfortunately the recovery also has been replaced by an incompatible one. That's the reason because you can't even boot into recovery. Unfortunately I don't have a Hammer S in hand to check the possibilities. You could solve your problem by flashing your phone with SP Flash Tool, but a such format of ROM is not yet available for Hammer S. Some new mediatek SoC based phones can boot into fastboot mode. You should check whether that option is available at you or not. Try to power on your phone with volume down button. If the fastboot mode is available, then you still can recover your phone even without an SPFT ROM.

I can go to the Fastboot Mode but then i see Only the Text Fastboot Mode... and then stops this text . And it works nothing and on the PC , I see the unit also .

So, fastboot commands don't work, do them? If there's neither a working recovery nor the fastboot option, then the only solution can be the flashing with SP Flash Tool. Unfortunately, a ROM in that version is still not available. I try to ask the responsible UMI representative to provide it.

I have downloaded the official Hammer S ROM using Rootjoy but still cannot re-flash the device.

With Recovery -> apply Update from SD Card = Opening update package -> Installation aborted.

If you flash your phone with Rootjoy, that installs a custom recovery first on your phone. Without that, the existing stock recovery is not able to install a ROM downloaded by Rootjoy. So, after first using Rootjoy, you might brick your phone with keeping the possibility to reinstate it from recovery, since the Rootjoy recovery has been installed. Of course, if you flash an incompatible Rootjoy recovery, the result will be the same as now: you need an SPFT type firmware.

Sorry about multiple threads.

Just that my problerm is a little different, I just screwed up the build.prop.

This would be easy fix if adb recognises the phone. Since adb is not working the next course of action is to reflash.

If someone could tell me how to get windows 8.1 to recognise the phone, ie. loaded the adb driver that would be great.
