Hey, I want to know,
Will there still be an update (s)? Because there are so many bugs and improvements to make, I believe in you, UMI! But I just want an answer.

According to the latest info I have, the next update is expected to be released tomorrow, if nothing unexpected will happen in the mean time. Some days of delay is possible.

Hey guys, first of all sorry for the off-topic question, but if the update arrives soon I need to check something first. I used SPFT to root the current 7.1.1 ROM thanks to the instruction bencebacsi posted. In case the new ROM is released can I use SPFT to flash it without losing the root and data. If so could you please post some instructions? Thanks.

Hi, you can flash the new rom with SP Flash Tool, but you will lose your root acces.
You can flash the new ROM, but you will lose your root acces, but you will keep any data and files.
If you flash the new ROM with SP Flash Tool, you actually flash a new system. But the new system that you flash doesn't have root acces, so you flash a non-rooted rom / system.
But if you only flash the "System.img" with SP Flash Tool, you will keep your date, but loose root acces. Hope I helped you

\n\nHi GamingMonter should I flash it with the stock recovery via SPFT and the reflash it with TWRP or can I use TWRP recovery directly during the flashing process. Also flashing everything will keep the user data right?

Well, when you flash everything (the hole rom) with SP Flash Tool, you will loose your data. You only have to flash the "System.img" with SP Flash tool. (so uncheck all the options, but not the system.img) I have a screenshot so you know what I mean with "only the system.img".
But when you only flash the system part, you will loose your root acces, but you keep your data.
