Good mornign,

I had a problem with the battery of my UMI Z. With 3 months of use, the battery began to swell, deforming the case and broke the volume and the lock buttons.

The seller says I should send the smartphone to China to repair, and the shipping cost is too high. I need a replacement battery to change, although I couldn't use the buttons anymore.

There is a technical service for UMI smartphones in Spain? Where can I buy a battery for my phone?

Thanks.

Regards

You cannot send phone to China because of the risks involved. The faulty battery could explode during transportation. It has been discussed here on the forums that they usually provide you with replacement battery and you have to change it yourself. Please search the forums, there are even some handy videos with instructions.
Anyway you have to discuss your options with the seller.

Thank you for your answer Medard.

The point is that the seller told me that he should send the phone to China. But what you said is reasonable.

My problem now is where I can buy the battery. I'm going to look for that in the forum.

Thank you!!

Regards
