Salve a tutti, ho un Umi Iron e il gps non funziona molto bene. Premesso che dalle specifiche di vendita dovrebbe avere anche AGPS-EPO, vorrei sapere come migliorare la ricezione del segnale. Ho giá letto molti forum, e tutti dicono di scaricare l'app Mobileuncle MTK. A questo punto dice d entrare in Engeneer MTK, che peró sul mio dispositivo non c'é, come non é presente la configurazione dell'AGPS. Come devo fare ?

Per questo tipo di problema, esiste una app che ritengo possa risolvere il tuo problema.
Si chiama MT GPS EPO Fix e la trovi su playstore.
Facci sapere poi com'è andata.

Questa è la spiegazione di come utilizzarla spiegata da loro.
Se si dispone di un dispositivo mobile con un MT6577/MT6589 (T) / chipset MT6592, probabilmente avrete notato che la funzionalità GPS è a volte problematica. In particolare, può essere molto difficile ottenere un 'fix'. Questo può essere risolto salvando file recenti EPO, utilizzati per GPS assistito. Questi file EPO possono essere scaricati manualmente (il che richiede un certo tempo), o si potrebbe utilizzare MT GPS. Questa applicazione recupera i file più recenti EPO e li salva nel posto giusto. I file devono essere aggiornati ogni giorno per assicurarsi che si può sempre ottenere un fix GPS rapidamente. The antennas problems with Umi is commom to all versions, included GPS, 4G and WI FI. The problem is very simple to solve. The problem is that the WI fi , 4G and GPL antennas are on the internal mother board plastic cover inside Umi.

You need to remove 1st cover, then this cover and you will see pieces of metal that are not enought up to touch the hardware connections of wi fi, 4g and Gps in the mother board, so once you close this cover you will see this pieces of metal dont touch it or stay only very close to it.

With an precision knife like X-act or other you need to pull this pieces of metal a little up on a way that they touch the hardware once you close it.

After this my GPs started worked more faster and accuratly then ever and 4G internet speed and ping goes to the roof . Amazing !
