I got my Z Pro today and so far I am happy with my device but the Wifi range is a bit low ! Is it possible to improve that by an Update or is it hardware related !?

At Home,a few meters away from the Router theres no more ...
Please delete and set again wi-fi.
If you are fully sure that wi-fi range was better before update you perform factory reset to remove any system bugs or comeback to previous firmware using SPFT or flash latest ROM with SPFT.
