I have the phone a few days and I am asking myself, whether I use the newest version of the software. Mine is actually: UMIDIGI Z Pro.V3.01_20170408

Is there any thread here, where new OTA-Updates are announced?

You can always check here all available ROMs

It does not make any sense to look for new updates when there will be no more.
The last update was over a year ago and I do not think UMIDIGI will deliver anything here.
