I just bought this phone today and it is taking forever to charge. I let it charfing sicen 11:45 pm and it is now 5:11 am and the battery percent is only 67%.

Do I need to carry back this phone to the store for a replacement?

Also I noticed that when you unplug this phone from charging the phone takes a few seconds to recognize that it has been removed from a charging source as the lightning icon is still showing and the red notifications stays solid for about 6 seconds.

Update to the problem...

Well I restarted the phone unplugged it from charging and reversed the USB Type C Cable in phone port and charging adapter on charging brick

Seems to be charging normally now. from 67% it reached 85% pretty quick and phone says 34 mins till full charge which is much better that the five hours it was taking just to reach 67%.

I will monitor this situation and as read on another topic I feel is has something to do with the USB cable.

I also notice different charging speed when rotating the USB end that's plugged into the phone. I've ordered new USB cables, they charge the same speed as the original Cabela's, not like a fast charger that where on my Nexus 6, but more like standard charging.

cable seems to be working and charging fast now maybe it was a fluke or the new battery needed to break in.
Update: I apparently didnt push the charger all the way up as this si my first USB Type-C Phone and charger, I was afraid to damage it or something. I think it works well now.

Bought a backup cable as well for the car.
