The problem is not with UMIDIGI.
Mediatek is responsible for the sourcecode.
As long as Mediatek is not ready to cooperate, it will be hard to create a reasonable custom ROM.

I can only say after the last 7.1.1 update no issues. Then again ive rooted my z pro added twrp recovery andere when it gets sluggisch I clear art /dalvik cache and cache it selves. It seems that after installing playstore updates it doesn't handle that flawless then again I wipe cache and no problems. All the users that haven't rooted their phone however can't wipe cache and Dalvik/art cache. Perhaps an extra option in the regular umidigi z pro recovery would be a suggestion.  And yes my GPS wasn't good before rooting and installing fastergps. But now it is fine. The thing about rooting and warranty is a strange thing, because why is the suggestion "try reflashing your firmware" the suggested remedy? That suggests that the original flashing was a bad one? My suggestion? Make the z pro open source and hand the developing to the masses.
