Yeah... I've noticed this on my Iron as well.

If I swipe away notifications from my lock screen it doesn't actually "clear" the notification from the LEDs perspective. I actually need to go into whichever app was involved and look at it.

It is forcing me to stop ignoring my family... guess I should reply to them at some point!

I edited my previous post here it's better for comprehension. So I think the LED is not linked to notification's panel but directly with apps themselves.

Then IMHO that's not the way Android notifications are meant to work. I could even be related to the problem where LED is ignoring per app settings as it seems that the system is taking over the LED.

Yes agree with you, it doesn't work fully as it should because by exemple with a missed call if I remove the notification the LED disappears but for a SMS I have to read it. Some application notice you with screen on and you have the LED and others you don't have the LED totally arbitrary for me . It's not annoying for me , it's just "perfectible"
