Ringtone turns back to default after restarting the phone

First few times it happend i thought i forgot to set my favorite ringtone , but day after day , because i set the phone to auto turn off and on every night and morning ,i notice on the first phone call i get that the ringtone i'd set is gone and have to set it every single time.If i dont restart or switch off the phone everything is fine.
Am i doing something wrong ?

I have exactly that problem, because the phone reboots every morning Android reverts back to their default.  I can't find a solution on Android forums to this fault  and maybe due to the extended SSD memory not being immediately available after a reboot. Maybe one needs root access to add the custom ringtone into the same folder that Android uses.
It is a damn nuisance, I hope someone finds the answere.

I recently switched off the battery saving auto switch off/on at night so it does not need to restart each morning, now the ringtone setting works OK.  I'll do without the battery save meanwhile until I can find a root solution.

There is a solution I found on a Google search in general android problems ( not specifically UMI)  sorry I cannot remember it but it should not be too difficult to find. It has remained stable since.
